Not sure about olympics, reminds me more of rocket launches. This is not coming together for me. In colour the white boots really grab the frame and force me to find other flashes of white in the scene which, apart from the chair, are fairly limited.

This had a strong impact on first opening a couple of days ago: a sense of the person grappling with the umbrella. The white boots help with that of course and then it becomes a bit like ‘in Falmouth’ as one looks beyond. There are reds and whites aplenty in the initial plane and then one is into an interesting study of the building: its build and its function. Below the floodlights is a white beam (echoed further back) that forms a sort of cross with the umbrella. The heraldic frieze on the wall is intriguing.

It doesn’t have a conventional “coming together” but does it need it?
